Onsite Training Course Terms and Conditions

The Terms and Conditions set out below and our Privacy Policy together constitute the legal agreement between you and Green’s Global Trading Limited (trading as Cleaning Masterclass) relating to the provision of training courses.

Acceptance and Confirmation of Bookings

Cleaning Masterclass will do everything in its capability to accommodate a request for booking, particularly during busy times, but we reserve the right to not accept a booking. All bookings are subject to availability and are booked on a ‘first comes first served basis’. During the booking process we will issue a no obligation written quote with estimated costs based on your requirements. All quotes are valid for 30 days. On written acceptance (email is acceptable) on this quote a formal booking is made and made subject to the cancellation terms. All bookings are confirmed on issue of an invoice, which are subject to the course fees and payment terms below.

Course Fees and Payment Terms

Account Customers: All course fees and payment must be made within 30 days from the date of the invoice.

Private individuals / Non-Account Customers: All course fees and payment must be made before the training event(s) can commence.

Short notice bookings: All course fees and payment must be made before the training event(s) can commence if bookings are made within 2 weeks of training day.

Late Payments

Late payments as defined as outstanding payments due after 30 days will be subject to the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, which grants us the right to charge interest of 8% plus the Bank of England base rate and reasonable costs of collecting the debt (between £40 and £100 per invoice).

Cancellations

We will always try to accommodate cancellations due to exceptional or unforeseen circumstances, but we reserve the right to charge cancellation fees. Please contact us as soon as possible.

All cancellations must be confirmed in writing (email is acceptable) and is subject to the following charges:

  • More than 4 weeks in advance – No charge
  • Between 2 and 4 weeks in advance – 20% of the course fee
  • Less than 2 weeks in advance – 100% of the course fee

If we have to cancel a training event we will reimburse in full any course fees paid and our liability will be limited to the value of the course fees paid.

Additions, Transfers and Substitutions

Substitutions of delegates on any course can be made without penalty or extra charges. If a delegate can no longer attend a course, they can nominate another person to attend the same course in their place. This will incur no charge.

Adding additional delegates to a booked training event (after booking confirmation) must be requested in writing before the event takes place. We will try to accommodate extra delegates where possible, but if the overall training group size is considered (by us) to be too large for one event, we reserve the right to refuse the additional delegates. We will try to accommodate more than two additional delegates by recommending an additional training event, which will be subject to an additional cost.

On The Day

Arrival

The client is responsible for:

  • Ensuring entry to the site 30 minutes before the start of the training
  • Suitable room or area to conduct the training that can accommodate the number of delegates, demonstration and practice areas, and any IT equipment or writing boards as requested.
  • Delegates are required to arrive at the training room or area at least 10 minutes before the start
  • Delegates arriving more than 15 minutes after the start time may be excluded from the course. We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals with genuine reasons that are beyond the control of delegates. However, if in the opinion of the instructor, the delegates has missed a significant portion of the course and will be unable to make this up, they will not be allowed to join the course

Course Materials and Equipment

We will supply all course materials, including activity and exercise sheets, and any other materials or equipment that has been agreed to as part of the booking.

Health and Safety

The client is responsible for ensuring the site, fixtures and fittings, and powered cleaning equipment (as applicable) is safe for use as would be reasonably expected under the Health and Safety at Work Act.

Behaviour

Whilst on-site and during the course, delegates are expected to behave in a professional manner at all times and we reserve the right to immediately exclude delegates who fail to do so (no refunds will be given). Disruptive, obscene, defamatory, bullying, discriminatory, lewd, violent or otherwise unacceptable behaviour or language will not be tolerated, and the delegate(s) will be prohibited from continuing with the course. Alcohol and drugs are strictly prohibited on-site and during training, nor should they be consumed prior to training. If there is any evidence of such, instructors will exclude the delegate.

Severely disruptive behaviour involving several delegates will result in the immediate cancellation of the course.

Mobile Phones and Devices

Delegates must not use their mobile phones or other electronic devices during the training event, except during breaks or because of exception circumstances.
